Campus Cash is an essay-writing contest for eligible students working for TRAK during the 2007-2008 school year. Each Entrant must submit an original essay describing his or her work experience, and the author of the winning essay will receive a prize of $1000.
Eligibility
- The contest is open to all temporary employees who work for TRAK during the 2007-2008 school year and are enrolled in good standing in an undergraduate, graduate or certification program. Proof of eligibility may be required.
Entry
- Each entrant must submit an original essay (3 – 4 double-spaced pages) that describes how he or she benefited from work experience with TRAK and how it will help him or her in the future. By submitting an essay, Entrant certifies that the essay is original and that the essay was authored solely by the Entrant.
- Essay must include Entrant’s name, phone number and e-mail address.
- All essays must be submitted as a Microsoft Word Document and be e-mailed to campuscash@trakcompanies.com. Handwritten or scanned documents will not be accepted.
- The deadline for submission of essay is midnight on August 8, 2008.
- Entrants may only submit one essay.
- Essays must be written in English.
- Poetry, scripts, screenplays, and song lyrics are not permitted.
- Illustrations are not permitted.
- Following successful electronic submission of his or her essay, the Entrant shall receive a reply stating that the Competition has received the essay. Entrants will not be able to check the status of their Essay and will receive no other notification until the winning Essay is announced. Essays will not be critiqued or returned to the Entrant, and will become the property of TRAK. Following submission of the Essay, TRAK may contact the Entrant via e-mail or by telephone to request additional information from the Entrant. Entrants may be required to execute a certification of eligibility and compliance with the contest rules.
- Participation in the writing contest constitutes Entrant’s consent to the use or publication of his or her name and all or part of the submitted essay, all without limitation or other consideration.
- TRAK reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest. Failure to comply with the rules may result in disqualification. Please direct questions regarding contest rules to campuscash@trakcompanies.com.
- Contest is not open to staff employees of TRAK or their immediate family members.
- All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Winner Notification
- The winning Entrant will be notified via telephone or e-mail on or before August 15, 2008.
Prize
- $1000 will be awarded to the author of the chosen essay.
- Award shall be paid with deductions for applicable taxes or withholding. The winner is responsible for any federal, state or local taxes.
