The TRAK Companies—TRAK Legal, TRAK Services and TRAK Records and Library—have a long history of giving back to the DC community through various charitable organizations and events.
At the beginning of 2009, we joined forces to support a local charity, Suited for Change. Founded in 1992, Suited for Change provides professional clothing and ongoing career and life skills education to low-income women to increase their employment and job retention potential. The services are available at no charge and by referral only to low-income women who have completed job readiness programs and are seeking employment.
Partnering with this organization is in alignment not only with our expertise in staffing and recruitment, but also with our capabilities in career coaching, job searching, and developing interview skills specific to the DC employment market. We are hopeful that our time, donations and resources will help to make a difference to the clients of Suited for Change. This year, as last, Suited for Change is partnering in support of Prom Dress PurSuit, acting as a drop off point from 10 AM - 12 PM at 1010 Vermont Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. Dresses, shoes, bling and evening handbags will be accepted by volunteers from My Father?s Heart. Dresses benefit young women residing in community shelters. 18th Annual Suite PurSuit Gala

Raise money and awareness for Suited for Change at their annual gala and auction on May 5, held at the Naval Heritage Center. All proceeds will help equip, educate, encourage, and empower disadvantaged women in the Washington, DC, suburban Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas.
