The TRAK Companies—TRAK Legal, TRAK Services and TRAK Records and Library—have a long history of giving back to the DC community through various charitable organizations and events.
At the beginning of 2009, we joined forces to support a local charity, Suited for Change. Founded in 1992, Suited for Change provides professional clothing and ongoing career and life skills education to low-income women to increase their employment and job retention potential. The services are available at no charge and by referral only to low-income women who have completed job readiness programs and are seeking employment.
Partnering with this organization is in alignment not only with our expertise in staffing and recruitment, but also with our capabilities in career coaching, job searching, and developing interview skills specific to the DC employment market. We are hopeful that our time, donations and resources will help to make a difference to the clients of Suited for Change. Suited for Change is in need of handbags (come on ladies, you have dozens in your closet!) and interview appropriate clothing in size 0 and sizes 16 - 26. White and solid color blouses in all sizes, earrings, necklaces and scarves help our volunteers put together outfits that instill confidence and hope in local women who use our services to prepare for interviews and new jobs.
